Antique furniture, fine art and comfortable furnishings combine with tasteful elegance to make this property the natural choice for someone who is looking for affordable quality in a top location. With Harrods just 10 minutes walk away, lovely Hyde Park not much further and some of the best London restaurants in the area, this property is a great find. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac so there is very limited traffic noise.

Passing tube trains can be heard at the back of the house but luckily the drawing room and both bedrooms are at the front where the tube noise is barely heard. Your nearest tube station (5 mins walk) is South Kensington (District, Circle and Piccadilly lines).

The accommodation is arranged over three floors and sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms with two bathrooms.

The front door opens onto a small porch which gives in turn onto the spacious drawing room (24ft x 13ft, 7.4m x 3.9m) one half of which is furnished with a comfortable sofa and two arm chairs round an attractive fireplace with gas coal-effect fire - very cosy in winter, complemented with lamps on side tables. The room has a stereo system and an iPod dock. In the house there are a number of televisions all of which can receive Sky channels, you can move one into the drawing room if you want. The other half of the room has a more open area and leads to the kitchen and dining room.

The practical kitchen, off to the left between the drawing room and the dining room, has all the expected appliances including gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and separate dryer.

The dining room (11ft3 x 8ft9, 3.4m x 2.7m) is in a glassed-roof conservatory-style extension to the house with a handsome polished wood dining table comfortably seating 6. French windows open onto a small outside patio with plants climbing trellised walls and attractive lighting at night.

On the first floor is an office/study (11ft x 8ft3, 3.3m x 2.5m) with book-lined walls and a fine large desk. The wifi broadband access point is here.

Also on this floor is the first bedroom ( 3.5m x 3.4m) with a fine four poster canopied bed (4ft6 wide) and a bathroom with shower, basin and loo.

The master bedroom (13ft x 12ft3, 3.9m x 3.7m) with 5ft wide bed is on the second floor, it has its own en-suite bathroom with bath, basin and loo.

There is also an attractive roof terrace (10ft x 10ft, 3m x 3m) with trellised walls, potted olive trees and some seating.

This is an excellent part of London for fashionable shops and restaurants. Walton Street is the next street with many up-market shops and restaurants. Less than 5 minutes walk away is Beauchamp (pronounced Beecham) Place with more fashion shops and yet more restaurants. Your local pub, The Admiral Codrington in Mossop Street, is 2 minutes walk away; it's popular with the young and trendy and serves good food at reasonable prices. The Hyde Park, Sheraton Tower and Berkley hotels, all with renowned dining rooms, are all within a 15 minute walk on Knightsbridge walking towards Hyde Park Corner.

This is a No Smoking property.
