This second floor (there's a good lift) apartment in a quality 1930s portered mansion block is just off The Kings Road and a 5 minute walk to Sloane Square (tube District and Circle lines). The area is full of fashionable shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés.
The flat belongs to a retired Guards Officer as is evidenced by the fine military and sporting (hunting and shooting) prints throughout the flat. Some may find the accommodation a little old fashioned by today's standards but it's perfectly comfortable, fully functional, clean and warm. For 3 people, it's good value for money.

The flat accommodates 3 people in one double and one single bedroom. There's one bathroom.
The front door opens onto a small hallway (coat cupboard, umbrella stand) off which is the kitchen and the living room. A corridor beyond the living room leads to the dining room, bedrooms and bathroom.
The living room (15ft x 13ft6, 4.6m x 4.15m) is comfortably furnished with a two seater sofa and two arm chairs, central coffee table, side table with lamps, bookcase, modest radio/CD player, TV (cable channels) and wifi broadband internet connection.
|
|
Next door is the dining room (11ft6 x 9ft3, 3.5m x 2.8m) with dining table for 6 and second table acting as a sideboard.
The kitchen has all the expected appliances, including microwave and mini dishwasher, but no washing machine (there is a launderette close by).

The main bedroom (13ft9 x 11ft10, 4.2m x 3.6m) has a 6ft bed (actually two joined 3fts) with brass bedsteads and good storage space in built-in cupboards. The single room has a 3ft bed. The bathroom has a bath, basin and loo.

Along The Kings Road you'll find some of the best that London can offer: great shopping, chic cafés, friendly pubs and many good restaurants. But for a very special treat try Gordon Ramsay's restaurant (he's one of our most celebrated chefs) in nearby Royal Hospital Road. Many say it's the best food in London - it's not cheap and you MUST book ahead but you'll remember the meal for a long time!
This is a No Smoking property.
